Meet Sylvia

Oh...that's me. Thanks for coming to take a peek at my "stuff".
Hope you find it kind of unique. I make up my own patterns for things and when I have tried them out on my own Greys then I make a permanent pattern. Most of the "clothing" items have also been adjusted to fit a whippet and an Iggy since I have also adopted one of each of those...Also...if you have an idea you want to try...give me a shout...I LOVE to design new concepts.
Making my items personalized is my goal...You don't have to stick with "cookie cutter" designs...if you see something you like but want it a little different than shown...Bless you!!

OK...I'm a 61 yr old HAPPILY married...(sorry guys..eat your hearts out!!!) fabulously beautiful and talented natural redhead..hey...this is my story and I'll tell it my way...well, two out of three isn't bad..you figure out which two things are true!!!

I have worked in the Mental Health field for 43 yrs..and still remain on the right side of the keys..I can not remember NOT sewing..my Mother started me out making doll clothes on a treadle Singer sewing machine before I went to Kindergarten and I was sewing doll clothes by hand before that. I graduated to an electric sewing machine when I made my own Birthday dress in the 3rd grade and haven't stopped sewing since.

A couple years ago I bought an Embroidery Machine because I couldn't find Greyhound themed "things" anywhere...and the few I found at custom shoppes were too expensive to have all I wanted for my body and my home and my Greys...SOOO...I started making things for my own pleasure..and the rest is history...this is still just a hobby ..I have a full time job. I do have a Vendor booth at Greyhound America to help get rid of the "mounds" of stuff I enjoy creating thru the year. I also donate to LOTS of Greyhound Gatherings and absolutely LOVE doing that. Prairie Beach Greyhound Gathering in Altoona, IA, put on by Heartland Greyhound Adoption..has adopted me as one of their own. I have been honored to teach "Crafty Greys" the last two years at their gathering.

O...by the way...I also have horses and do a bunch of trail riding...so I like to combine horses with the Greys on "stuff"...but I'll try any combination that I feel is appropriate to go with a Greyhound... even Cats and Bunnies.
